I felt really uninspired after an uneventful day yesterday, so I went on a short bike ride in the evening. I ended up cycling towards the Mastbos, a woody area in the Southeast of Breda. These pictures were taken around 20:30/8:30 PM when the sun had just set, so I found it particularly difficult to get the right lighting and capture the “end of summer” atmosphere. It was really beautiful to see how the fog was slowly creeping up onto the water surface (third picture) and the photo really doesn’t do it justice, but this was the best I could do. Also, doesn’t the hot air balloon give a nice touch? There were a lot more of them out there, but most had already returned to solid ground (this one was descending quickly as I was taking pictures).
I took a few more photos earlier in the evening, so I’ll probably be posting another batch of photos of the Mastbos soon!
