(I published an updated version of this post at CurioBites)
Since I am in my final year of secondary school and I’ll be moving out to my own room on campus next year, I’ve been imagining how I would decorate my new room (I know, not the most important plans for my future). Basically, I’m just too lazy to craft something for my room at home for the last remaining months. Anyhow, I was browsing through some DIY projects, when I found quite a few creative paper lantern designs. I really loved the idea of pimping my plain white lantern, so I decided to sum up my favourite ideas (click on the links for the tutorials)!
2. Ruffled Lanterns with crepe paper
None of them seem extremely difficult to make, some may take you a while, but I assume the results will be well worth it though. I have to say the one where you use recycled map paper is my favourite, definitely planning to do that one in the near future. Now I’ll just have to find some old, discarded maps and free time, of course. I’ll be working on my philosophy project tonight.

These look so cool! Nice site btw
